FKR and the rest of the Jacksonville squads took part in North vs South once again. However this time, it would be Jax vs the entire state of Florida. It was incredible, the turnout was amazing. We had over 800 people show up for this event. The jacksonville squad was running at around 200 strong, with the rest of the state having 600. Not an even match up in the slightest, and we did have our work cut out for us. We usually play a domination style game, with whomever holds the majority of bases wins the match, and we do a best out of three.
First game, we took an early lead, but we were quickly held to the bases we had control of, however we wound up winning that game. Second, we had some confusion in the start, had some other issues, but still managed to hold on to the win. The third game was a blow out with us getting rolled in about 20 minuets. We did have alot of our guys go home after the 2nd though.
All in all it was a great day, and we got to hang out with some of our friends from other parts of the state. We also gave Jeff (Meals on Wheels) his Echo1 MTC courtesy of Blowback armory. Dave did a great job accommodating all the players that came to this event. Great day, and cant wait until the next one.
